Recipe for Bruschetta

Ingredients:

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into ½ inch thick pieces
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush them lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake the bread slices for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly toasted and crispy.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, and extra-virgin olive oil. Mix well.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the baguette slices, spreading it evenly.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Bruschetta!

Note: You can also sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese or balsamic vinegar on top for added flavor.
